- 250 grams (0.551 pounds) margarine (in room temperature)
- 1 cup powder sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1 tablespoon baking powder
- 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
- ½ cup yogurt
- 4 cups cornstarch
- 1 cup flour
These cookies are long lasting. They don’t stale easily and they are also easy to prepare. I used cornstarch since it adds something different, let me say, a different arome. I cannot describe it, but trust me, you should try at least for once. If you don’t like it, you can keep them in a fridge or anywhere in your kitchen until you find someone likes them I did so even I like these yummy cookies. It will be your savior for unplanned guests.
A deep kneading pot
An electric mixer
Add the margarine, eggs and powder sugar in a pot and beat by using an electric mixer until it is homogeneous.
Add flour, baking powder, vanilla extract and cornstarch little by little while kneading. Knead until you get pretty soft dough.
Take walnut sized (obviously, more bigger than walnut sized) pieces from the dough and roll them on your palm. Then put them together onto the oven tray. Make the same to whole dough.
Bake for 25 minutes in the oven set and preheated to 180 °C (356 °F). Be careful, their surface musn’t redden.
