About Grilled Turkish Sujuk:

Sujuk is one of the common and ancient foods of Turks. It has been eaten from East Europe to Central Asia. It consist of a meat (generally beef) and several spices like garlic, sumac, cumin, salt, red pepper etc. Mixing the meat and spices, placing them into a sausage casing and leaving for a few days means sujuk :) That’s all about it, I am not going to tell how to prepare a sujuk, you can find it on the Internet or I may write the exact recipe of sujuk in following days. Here, is an healthful and ideal preparation of Turkish sujuk on a grill (or toaster) with a bread.

  1. Grill or toaster

  3. Chopping board

    Chop some sujuk.

    Place them on a gril or toaster.

  3. 3

    Meanwhile cut the sandwich bread in half.

    Grill the sujuk slices or toast them.

  5. 6

    After 4-5 minutes, change the sides of sujuk slices.

  6. 7

    When they completely redden, press the bread on them for a few seconds.

    Place the sujuk slices into the bread. Add some salt or spices if you wish.
