- 3 eggs
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 125 gram (0.275 pounds) margarine
- 1 cup yogurt
- ½ cup chopped hazelnuts
- ½ cup chopped walnuts
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 2 ½ cups flour
- ½ cup sesame
This is a plain cake only contains hazelnuts and walnut. If you love cakes and if you observe nutrition facts, this hazelnut and walnut cake is for you. You may reduce sugar amount if you don’t like it so sweet and you may not add sesame if you don’t like. You can easily “modify” this recipe for you and for your family. It will be economical for your budget since you can find the ingredients for this recipe easily and cheaply.

Preheat the oven to 175 °C (350 °F).
Add eggs and granulated sugar into the mixing bowl and whisk by using a blender until you see the bubbles. Then add the yogurt and continue to whisk.
Cut the margarine into a few slices and add it into the mix, then continue to whisk.
Add the flour little by little onto the mix and then add the baking powder, continue to whisk for a while.
When it is completely whisked, finally add the chopped hazelnuts and walnuts, then whisk for a minute.
Grease the cake mold and sprinkle the sesame onto the mold equally just like on the photo.
Pour the mix to the cake mold and put it into the oven. Bake for 45-50 minutes.
