- 1.5 cups water
- 1 cup oil
- 2 cups sugar
- ½ cup molasses
- 2 eggs
- 1 tablespoon baking soda
- 2 tablespoons cinnamon
- ½ cup yogurt
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 6 cups flour
- 3-4 drops lemon squash
Cookies… I think everyone loves them. There are huge variety of cookies from plain cookies to those with chocalate, fruits etc.. Think it with some molasses. As you know, molasses is made from grapes and it offers so much vitamins and minerals and is considered helthful. So, this recipe is not about just cookies, it’s about healthful cookies. I’m sure that when one tastes it he/she will want to eat them forever.
A deep kneading pot
Mix oil, sugar, yogurt, molasses and cinnamon.
Add flour in small amounts on this mixture.
Meanwhile mix salt and baking soda in a small pot and add 3-4 drops lemon squash.
Then pour this mixture onto the flour and knead the dough for 5-10 minutes. You should get a medium soft dough.
Take walnut sized pieces from dough and roll them in your palm.
Put these rolls onto a tray with a greased paper on i with some gap between them.
Bake 30-35 minutes in the oven set to 180-190 °C (356-374 °F).
Note: It’s important for dough to be in medium soft form. Rolls you made will be round when they are baked.
