  • 1 cup boiled chickpeas
  • 1 cup Turkish ravioli
  • 1 clove (diced)
  • 4 tablespoons oil
  • 1 ½ tablespoon tomato paste
  • 5-6 cups hot water
  • A pinch paprika
  • A pinch black pepper
  • A pinch salt

About Ravioli Soup with Chickpeas:

Turkish ravioli is different than Italian or worldwide ravioli. Honestly, our ravioli is smaller than the others. We like it with some beef in it and yogurt with garlic on it. Sometimes we use mint sometimes tomato paste on the yogurt. Anyway, I’ll give it’s recipe following days, but now, start with it’s soup. If you like this soup, give a chance to Turkish ravioli or let’s call it “Turkish manti”.

  2. A stirring spoon

  3. A few small bowls

    Add diced clove and oil into the pot and saute until the garlic turns pink.

    Add the tomato paste and saute again. Then add the paprika and black pepper and stir for a while.

    Pour the water onto the mix slowly and boil until the water with the mix till you see bubbles.

    When it boils, firstly add boiled chickpeas then ravioli. Finally add the salt and boil for 20-25 minutes. Serve hot.
