About Simple Tomato Soup:

There are several tomato soup recipes in Turkish cuisine like creamed, with onions, with milk etc. I am going to give their recipes on following days, but I wanted to start with the easiest recipe. You may serve this soup beside meat dishes and you may use ready-made tomato juice instead of tomatoes if you wish. But it will be a bit easier for you, if you trust ready-made tomato juice.

  2. A stirring spoon

  3. A chopping board

  4. A knife

  5. A grate

    Firstly, mash the tomato slices by using a blender and make them puree.

    Add the oil and flour into the pot and saute until the flour turns pink.

  3. 3

    Add the tomato paste and saute while stirring. Add the red pepper and black pepper when it is completely sauted.

    Pour the tomato juice little by little and stir while pouring it.

    After pouring all the tomato juice, pour the hot water again little by little and stir for a few times.

    Simmer for first 10 minutes, then cook on low heat and stir for a couple times.

    Serve hot. It will be yummier if you sprinkle some grated cheese on it.
