Pudding is not actually muhallebi in my opinion, but there is not a big difference between them. So, in sum we can consider both as pudding. You can find many ready made puddings or pudding powders on the market, but we don’t know what they contain. The best is making your own pudding (or muhallebi) at your home as you wish. Besides, you may add any sauce and this sauce is also home made. I used strawberries, but other fruits can also be used like apples, bananas or even chocolate. This recipe is very easy and the pudding is very light.
A mixing spoon
A few bowls
Pour the milk to a pot, then add sugar, flour and corn starch. Stir until it is homogeneous and simmer.
When it is boiled, turn off the heater, but continue to stir until it is warm.
Take this muhallebi to the bowls till its half.
To prepare the sauce, wash strawberries, take their leaves and puree.
Take the puree to a pot and add granulated sugar, corn starch and water on it. Stir well and simmer.
When it is boiled, pour the sauce onto the muhallebi that is in bowl. Take them to fridge and set aside for 3 hours. Serve cold.
