If you love puff and if you also like pizza, this puff pastry pizza is definitely for you. I used olives, Turkish sujuk, sweet corns, some spices etc but it’s up to you! You can use whatever you like for ingredients. The shape is also up to you. I shaped it square, and to be honest, this was the easiest, but they can be shaped round or even triangle. A final note: Be careful while eating, you might bite your tongue since it’s very yummy!
An oven tray
A pastry brush
A few small bowls
Take two of the puff dougs and set aside until they are soft, then cut them like stripes.
Cover the tray with the greased paper and put the remaining square puff doughs. Meanwhile preheat the oven to 180 °C (355 °F).
Add the puff stripes you cut previously on the edges of the puff doughs on the tray. Think it like a frame (please take a look at the second photo).
Meanwhile mix tomato paste, water, oil, red pepper, black pepper and thyme in a bowl.
Brush this mix with a pasty brush on to puffs.
Add the grated cheese on to the puff (but keep 1/3 of the cheese).
Add diced tomatoes, sausages, sujuk, olives and sweet corns on to the puff again.
Egg wash the edges of the puffs with a pastry brush.
Put the tray to the preheated oven and bake for 20-25 minutes.
Sprinkle the chees you kept before 5 minutes. Turn off the oven when the cheese melts completely.
