About Zebra Cake:

Some people consider zebras as donkeys with stripes. Actually I thought so when I was a child and I loved zebras and donkeys both. Now, I write a recipe about zebra cake. The top and the inside of this cake look like a zebra’s stripes, so they call it “zebra cake”. It is very simple, but a bit time consuming. OK, let’s start!

  1. 2 cake mixing bowls

  2. A blender

  3. A cake pan

  4. A table spoon

    Preheat the oven to 170 °C (338 °F).

  2. 2

    Add the egg and granulated sugar into the bowl and whisk.

  3. 3

    Add the milk and oil into the mixture and whisk again.

  4. 4

    Finally add the flour, baking powder and vanilla extract, and whisk slowly.

  5. 5

    Take the half of the dough to another bowl and add the cocoa and 3 tablespoons milk and stir.

  6. 6

    Grease the cake pan and spoon 3 tablespoons of the plain cake dough onto the middle of it.

    Spoon three tablespoons mix with cocoa and milk onto the middle of the plain dough.

  8. 8

    Continue to add the cake doughs this way until it is finished and do not shake the pan.

  9. 9

    Bake in the oven for (do not open the cover before 20 minutes).
